Write for Gamer MC
Interested in contributing content to Gamer MC? There is plenty of room to grow and expand and that is only possible with the joint effort of the contributors of Gamer MC, which could potentially be you!
MC stands for “master of ceremonies”‘ or “mic controller”. As an author of Gamer MC you are taking on the role of a speaker for the gaming community. This is your opportunity to make your voice heard. Here’s some things to keep in mind before submitting an application.
The goal of GMC
Gamer MC is designed to be an alternative source of gaming discussion. The goal is to propagate the greater good of both the gaming community and the industry. Whether your contribution takes the form of an honest review or just opinions about current events in gaming, as long as you have unique and entertaining content to provide you’ll fit in.
Content
Proper grammar and punctuation is a must. Quality of content takes priority over this of course but grammar is key to the success of any author or journalist who makes in any medium and it reflects the quality of the site. You have free reign over what your articles and videos contain (as long as it is in good taste and is original content by you) and we encourage you to exercise your freedom of speech to the fullest. You are not required to fulfill any weekly posting quotas but long periods of inactivity will result in your rights to publish content being temporarily revoked until you contact us.
What is GMC looking for?
Right now we are looking for journalists, reviewers, bloggers, vloggers, etc to provide content in text, video and audio formats. As far as credentials go, it doesn’t matter if you’ve been doing this kind of thing for years or just started. As long as you can show us you are dedicated to providing quality content you’re good to go.
Will I be paid?
Currently anyone taken on as a contributor or author will be doing so on a volunteer basis. In the future we wish for that to change but that requires growth. If your priority is making money rather than building a long term journalistic portfolio, look elsewhere.
